They could also develop their own AI models fully ethical if they just want to. They could even work together with other Linux companies to share costs. This should be possible especially for specialized accessibility AIs as TTS or STT.
News from today: Linux gaming on Steam has reached 4.52%. Data of January and February were not reliable through Chinese new year and March had a bit over the top data (5.33%). The data this months looks just right considering the data of last year. 6 months after Windows 10 end of life we can say that Linux gaming became accelerated by over 5 times and also 50% more Linux gamers since EOL. That is a huge thing! I still know a lot of people who will switch sooner or later.
