We like Mozilla, we really do, but use this VPN sparingly and with the knowledge that it'll be quite trivial for sites to figure out what your real IP address is. Unless you're into that kind of thing. Using a WebRTC call, sites can easily bypass the VPN's protection to see your real IP address unless you manually turn it off in about:config. The option is "media.peerconnection.enabled" It seems Vivaldi's built-in VPN does indeed protect against this leakage, so it's not like it can't be done. 🤝Support us on Patreon🤝 https://patreon.com/linuxuserspace 🦊Firefox VPN leaks your IP when using WebRTCWebRTC leaks explained https://www.security.org/vpn/webrtc-leak/ Mullvad VPN Connection Check https://mullvad.net/en/check ⭐⭐⭐⭐Producers ❤️John Andersen, Bruno Parisi, Dave Jones, Visaggio & Co. ⭐⭐⭐Co-Producers ❤️Tim LePés, --verbose, MarshMan, Rotted Mood ⭐⭐Super Users ❤️Nicholas Omann, CubicleNate, sleepyeyesvince, Metal.Smurf, Jill Bryant & Steve Ryniker, Eduardo Sanchez, Advait, EwokEmpire, Musical Coder, Hausken, Mark the Saigoneer, jeff3ix, Blackshift6090, Jefferson Lotspeich, Amanita, Matt Miller ⭐Users ❤️Eduardo PH, Kyle, Bobby Ramsey, James Taylor, Antony Frost, Alex, November Krinnan, Winter, Dan, FOSS Charlie 🌏Lemmy https://lemmy.linuxuserspace.show 🌏TILvids https://tilvids.com/a/linuxuserspace 🌍Reddit https://linuxuserspace.show/reddit 🌎Discord https://linuxuserspace.show/discord 🌏Telegram https://linuxuserspace.show/telegram 🌍Matrix https://linuxuserspace.show/matrix 🌎Twitch https://linuxuserspace.show/twitch
